About the event
The Axiom Quartet presents "Holiday Storybook", a program of classical and pop holiday music for string quartet from around the world. Come listen to old favorites and less familiar holiday songs as Axiom performs and tells the stories behind them.
From Gustav Holst and Ralph Vaughn Williams, to Mariah Carey and Barry White, holiday music has played an important - and influential - role in the development of classical and popular music for thousands of years. Together we’ll use this theme like a time capsule, peering into many eras and cultures to enjoy the holiday season with a variety of sounds.
